Medalist National League Finals One

By Brian Sullivan

You’ve built the perfect team and you’re jelling, the magic is there. The plan is to take the division, and win in the Pit. Done deal, right? Not anymore.

Now there is one more step to complete your ultimate quest. Does your team have what it takes to become the National League Champion?

For the first time, teams from across the Medalist universe can compete with each other to determine who is truly the best of the best. On Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Texas Station Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, teams will finally be able to show off their skills to fellow players everywhere.

The best part of it all is that any team that played in the 2013 Medalist Winter-Spring or Spring Leagues is eligible to compete! You don’t need to win your division. You don’t need to win (or even play) at your Zone Finals. As long as your team meets the requirements for your Zone Finals, you can play in the National League Finals as well. The cost is $35.00 per player (plus $5.00 per player for prepaid play). You don’t even need to register early - sign up right at the event.

Wednesday morning will be all Doubles; Novice, C, B, A Flights will all be represented. Sign-ups open at 8:00am, you must be signed up by 10:00am. Opening Ceremonies will take place at 10:00am, and play will start at 10:30am.

The evening belongs to the Novice, C, B, and A Trios. Sign-ups are from 3:00pm until 7:30pm. Shooting will start at 8:00pm. When it’s all over, and the dust has settled, the question will be answered for the first time. Who really is the best?

Teams play under their location and team names from League. There will be plaques for the Top 8 teams in each division, jackets for the National Champions, special National Champions plaques for the sponsoring locations, and of course, LOTS OF CASH!

Once you decide to participate, simply call Medalist at (253) 939-2900 or 1-800-LEAGUES to verify your team’s eligibility. Make your travel plans, and head to Las Vegas to play your heart out. And since you’re going to be there anyway, you’ll probably want to stick around for the Triple Crown Invitational on from August 8, 9, and 10, 2013.

Head over to www.medalistgames.com for all pertinent information, and get your teams registered now.
