Dawson’s does it ‘til they take it out!

Jenny and the gang gathered for their monthly $1,000 Payout dart shoot on July 16th. Jeff Christian actually ran the tourney for Del who was not available, and manhandled that 18-team chart like a real pro.
Rich Sutton, the man, the myth, was in da house, mixing it up with Tacoma’s best shooters, including Frank and Denny, Lynnde and Stacy, Pat, Christina, and many more. Even True and Trish came out for some social time. All in good fun, the mood was light and fun.
Ran into Allen and Sue, who claim that Aulton is Allen’s twin brother, and also plays darts. This could be trouble for an unsuspecting opponent. After years of being away from the game, raising a family, they’re anxious to get back to what they love, darts! Both happy to be playing again.
Of course, we always condone the resurgence of player involvement. As well as the integration of new and old generation players.
Dawson’s plays host to dart players from all over the Puget Sound, who come for their weekly and monthly tournaments, top-notch live entertainment, great food, and Trina. Okay, I go there for Trina. Everybody else goes for all that other stuff.
Didn’t get to see Kenny at this one. He’s the mastermind behind this masterful business on South Tacoma Way. Somehow or another, Kenny maintains relevancy through a tough time in the bar business across the board. Those closest to him say it’s the man himself. Ah the lessons we can learn from each other, if only we would pause to listen.
Dawson’s Bar & Grill is that quaint, open-air bar with it’s own chic roadside patio at South Tacoma Way and S. 56th Street. Several surrounding bars make this a destination point for a hungry party crowd, but you’ll usually end up at Dawson’s.
