very month brings a plethora of exciting dart tournaments to the Northwest’s most elite dart house, the bar where everyone has played at some point or another, the Cactus Moon Saloon.
Teresa, Cactus Moon’s Coordinator, was gone that night. Probably in the Bahamas somewhere. So Mark Hinton was kind enough to step in and run their monthly $750 Added Trios shoot.
There were only 18 players that wanted to get in on that action this time, but Mark did a fantastic job of coordinating the event. He ran around, informing everyone of their board assignments, laughing and joking with the players. He was enjoying the interaction, and his exuberance was contagious.
Chad, Elaine, and Rob were sittin’ pretty in the Driver’s Seat, when along came Cruz, Jesse, and another Rob, who just put Dave, Shannon, and Greg out of the tournament.
Chad’s team, with the help of his 3-In-The-Black, forged their way to a victory that night.

It was a Friday night, and by now, it was getting to be around 11:00pm when suddenly the entire left side of the dart room filled up with random shooters who just took over.
Turns out Cactus hosts a late night, in-house Boeing Employees league. Especially for that 3rd shift to get their dart leagues in after work. What a great idea! And every one of these players were smiling and anxious to play their matches.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the boards, the tournament was winding down. But for awhile, all boards were being used. That’s what makes Cactus Moon so incredible; the place is ALWAYS packed full of people just doing stuff.
