Birthdays at Ringers

By Scott Kringle

Whenever a Ringer’s Regular shows up at the bustling bar in Mountlake Terrace and they’re having a birthday, it never goes unnoticed by Brett, Ringer’s Owner.

On Saturday, March 21, there were two very special people enjoying a gathering of family and friends. Tommy Erikson, who is great people all the way around, and a very devoted Ringers Regular was celebrating his 34th birthday. Tommy is still just a baby to some, but to others he is becoming a wise, old man. Either way, Judging by all his friends that packed out the place, it was pretty obvious Tommy’s a great guy.

A second birthday boy that night was turning 33. Cody, husband to Mandy Chestnut, a longtime valuable Ringer’s employee, have only been married for not quite a year now. Proving, once again, that behind every good employee is a supportive spouse in the background.

Mandy laid out a big spread of food, which grew when guests brought a dish of their own.

The band “First Shot” was playing live, getting everyone in a dancing mood. Later that night, the feast got a little better with the arrival of a huge chocolate birthday cake!

Mandy’s Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Tom helped rock the party, having the time of their lives. Here’s to wishing your birthday is as epic as Cody’s and Tom’s Ringer’s Style!
