Mix it up at the Inn

By Ty Hughes

Hey Lynnwood dart players! Are you slingin’ your tools of the trade at the all-new Inn Sportsbar these days? Have you even been in for a while?

Michael and Cindy from the old Goldies Shoreline Casino have transformed the Inn to become Lynnwood’s sparkling pride and joy. They continue to invest time and money into creating a bar atmosphere their patrons can truly appreciate. A place with enough eye-candy to bring them back time and again.

Darts is a main focus at the Inn, and Ed Winkle is the man in charge. He manages their leagues and tournaments, players and all. Plus, all that goes with this detail.

Just last month, the Inn started up a brand new tradition. They’ve added a Saturday night tournament to their weekly lineup. Now, the Inn is hosting a dart shoot every Tuesday and Saturday, 9:15pm start. Both are $300 Added w/6 teams, $400 w/12, or $500 w/16. Tuesday is an 18-point Bring, and players enjoy $2 cocktails, $2 draft beers, as well as $2 tacos.

Saturday is a 16-point Bring, with $3 Fireball shots, and $3 Bud and Bud Light pounders.

For just their second Saturday tournament, Ed pulled in 12 teams. He says, “The crowd fluctuates between Southend and Northend shooters from week to week.”

They are ‘growing’ fresh, young players over at the Inn. They’re putting energy into cultivating new dart talent, or just getting ‘em hooked on the game, good or not. For Summer In-House Leagues, Ed was proud to announce that they’re hosting 27 solid teams. Mighty impressive for a newer location, I do say.

Even some of the game’s most veteran of players can be found here, enjoying their craft. You know, they say the best way to improve your game is with practice and the influence of higher-rated players. Find both at the all-new Inn Sportsbar & Grill at 16716 Hwy 99, Ste. G, Lynnwood, WA - (425) 743-0700.
