Wah Long lights the way

Wah Long pulled in 24 teams for their Blacklight Birthday Shoot on May 14. It was crazy fun, like back in the day. A bunch of old-schoolers showed up, making it a real special night for everyone, especially the eight players celebrating birthdays, including Jayleen (Wah Long‘s Dart Coordinator), Jimmy, Adam, Duane, Alky, Kailee, and Sarah.

The blacklight part of the night didn’t work out quite as hoped unfortunately. We all envisioned a much greater effect, but according to Jayleen, the lighting wasn’t as easy to achieve as expected. She still had a pretty cool effect going though. Maybe she’ll just leave it, and keep building on the theme, to one day have the most popular Blacklight Shoots on the West Coast! She’ll be featured on the cover of the Rolling Stone for her Blacklight bar, where you recognize your friends first by their gleaming teeth floating in mid-air. I love it!

One thing you all have to celebrate is that you’re not turning the big “Triple 20” as Pat Gorman likes to put it. He plans to do just that very soon, and HE’S STILL A TOTAL BABE MAGNET! He’s well aware of the fact too. Sixty bigguns! The guy could pass for friggin’ forty! Fabio’s got nothing on our own Pat Gorman!

Jayleen’s been the only one to be able to tame this Wah Long crowd in a while. She’s doing a superb job at maintaining a smooth flow of dart activities at Wah Long. She and Jimmy, Wah Long’s owner, keep coming up with some fun and unique dart shoots to throw out there. Some stick, some don’t, but at least they’re putting some effort into it, and it shows. They’re gonna have some kind of dart tourney here every Saturday night. Try their Opposite Arm “I Feel Your Pain” Shoot. What a blast!

Wah Long enjoys a large pool of players to choose from when it comes to those ever-popular Challenge Cups too. We’re always seeing these cups show up on Wah Long’s doorstep.
