Party on down at Ringer’s

By Scott Kringle

Justin Knapp turned thirty years old at Ringers Bar & Grill on Friday, March 12. The event called for a hefty $1000 Payout in recognition of Justin’s milestone.

Raffle tickets were sold for just $1 per ticket. Buy a “Bully” raffle ticket and if your ticket is pulled you can win from $5 to $150 depending on how many “Bully’s” you hit.

Brett, Ringer’s owner passed out the Ringer’s league T-shirts to all the dart players playing league out of Ringer’s. Blue and white shirts for the girls, which Skylar, Roslyn, and Deanna show off for a photo. And for the guys, gray shirts with the word “Sandbagger” on the lower back of the shirts.

Twenty teams signed up for the event and Coordinator Darin was prepared to pay down to 7th place with a whopping $500 cash going to the team that took first. The place was packed, not only with dart players, but everyone within driving distance came in to see the Huskies basketball team in the Pac 10 playoffs.

The dart tournament went well into the night. Some of those playing were on the verge of an early morning cup shoot down south at Dawson’s Tavern in Tacoma. Ringer’s team went down there from Mountlake Terrace and took that 4×7 Cup away from one strong Dawson’s team. By doing so, Ringer’s, made room on their shelves for the Limited Cup and now the 4×7 Cup too.

The food at Ringers is excellent! Great service by a super cute staff, plus a great all-around atmosphere, make Ringer’s a must do. With an ownership that loves the game, darts is a huge aspect of Ringer’s business. Come out sometime and join a cool bunch of folks who speak fluent darts.

Right now, Darin and Brett are in the process of winding down their Vegas giveaway dart series. Three lucky teams will walk away with a paid trip to Las Vegas!

Check out Ringer’s Pub & Grill at 22803 44th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace (425) 771-6072.
