Match Madness at Just Left

The Monthly Match Madness event had continued success Saturday, November 9 at the Just Left Pub in Lynnwood. Four person teams from ten great Seattle area DARTSLIVE locations came to the FREE entry fee event.
The Just Left Pub team from the host location came away with a dramatic victory over All Seasons Tavern from Tacoma coming out of the loser’s bracket and going down to the very last game.
Match Madness gaining steam

The R Bar filled to capacity on Saturday, September 14 for the popular and growing Match Madness $1,000+ Finals event.
Fifteen 4-person teams from bars all over the area qualified to play in this FREE ENTRY, huge payout tournament, including China Dragon, McClouds, Wayne’s World, Scotty’s Pub, MVPub, 13th Ave Pub, Brass Lantern, Meeker Street, Just Left, Interchange, R Bar, Riverside Lanes, Ricky J’s, All Seasons, and McMurphy’s.
August Match Madness much like the last

The WWDL’s monthly Match Madness rolls onward!
On Saturday, July 27th, nine teams gathered at Wayne’s World in Burien for a shot at the big ass trophy, and over a $1,000 in cash payouts.
As per usual, the top four, most active players from each of the participating WWDL locations around the Puget Sound, were invited to compete in the growing Match Madness event.
The players enjoy the diverse format, and turn up the heat, working with their appointed teammates to accomplish a momentous victory over their opponents. But first and foremost, it’s a nice chance to get out and play some darts!
The Johnson Joust?

The Pickled Onion Pub in Renton hosted their first $700 Added Men’s Only Shoot on August 10, 2013. Considered a success, the inaugural event drew 14 male players, and their supporting friends out for a good night of frivolous fun and laughter, during the same weekend as Medalist Triple Crown event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Susie West, Pickled Onion’s Co-Coordinator, handled the men with her usual finesse and panache. Players came from every direction to experience the action for themselves, including many new faces, along with many familiar faces.

The WWDL’s First Annual Celebration Of Darts is officially in the record books. And what a success it was!
The Swinomish Hotel and Casino in Anacortes, WA was crawling with dart players the weekend of June 8-9, 2013. WWDL players from up and down made the trip north, campers and all, to experience the new league’s first ever year-end Celebration Of Darts. This was a new adventure for everyone. No one truly knew quite what to expect over the next two days
Exciting Match Madness at China Dragon

Digital Music Systems’ Bill Clark hosted his very first tournament on Saturday, April 13th at the China Dragon in Seattle for WWDL players.
Eight 4-person teams filled the tiny bar on Aurora Avenue, which had been transformed to accommodate six DARTSLIVE boards. Thirty-two dart players and their friends from as far away as Covington came out to the China Dragon in hopes to get their mitts on a bit of the guaranteed $1,500 cash payout. Owners Phil, Richard, and their sweet little mother were flabbergasted by the response, and did everything possible to keep up with the onslaught at the bar.

Who knew that when DARTSLIVE first launched in the State of Washington last August, at the 13th Avenue Pub, that someone would emerge from the Northwest to compete with the World’s top professional dart players just four months later? TODD JORDAN had a dream and never gave up on it.

To play in the 64-team Trios Draw Tournament, play on one league team and simply be among the top 192-point earners. For the Doubles events, you’ll need 200 points. All players are welcome.
Pearl Vodka Tournament Of Champions

“WOW!” describes the 1st Annual Pearl Vodka Tournament of Champions in Kansas City, MO, October 19-23, 2012.
The KCI Expo Center is a huge venue with a great set up. The tournament was well-run, and the payouts were awesome. Ten Northwest darters traveled to Kansas City, and all agreed it was well worth the trip. And for the record, that famous Kansas City BBQ was pretty darn good too!
All-New Western Washington Dart League takes sign ups

Along with several recent new dartboard options available to Northwest players, there is also a brand new soft tip dart league currently signing up teams for Fall leagues. What has become known as the WESTERN WASHINGTON DART LEAGUES, or WWDL, is a joint effort by local vendors RJB Amusement, Target Darts and Datascore, Digital Music Systems and New Horizon Darts.
